ACCESSIBILITY TARGET · WCAG 2.2 AA
Accessibility & Learner Support
The student experience is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and gives learners more than one way to understand, navigate, and respond.
01
Navigate
Use keyboard controls, visible focus, clear headings, 44-pixel or larger primary touch targets, and layouts that reflow on smaller screens and at browser zoom.
02
Understand
Use English or Spanish, readable lesson objectives, immediate feedback, plain-language instructions, source artwork with text explanations, and progress status that does not depend on color alone.
03
Participate
Use accessible form names and states, written reflections, retryable checkpoints, saved progress, and a 2D keyboard-friendly alternative to the optional 3D House Lab.
04
Get support
Ask the teacher about pacing, language support, an alternate activity, assistive technology, or another reasonable accommodation. Technical steps are available in the signed-in Help Center.
